Hampshire Constabulary

Did you see anything?
Detectives are appealing for more witnesses to come forward after a 34-year-old man was found lying on the pavement on Hill Lane with facial injuries on Sunday.

Previously, officers had asked the driver of blue van come forward after it was reported they stopped at the scene.
That man has since come forward and assisted us with the investigation.
The 34-year-old man was found unconscious, lying on the pavement on Hill Lane at 5.50am on Sunday 13 August. He remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition. No arrests have been made at this time.
Officers have been carrying out enquiries in the local area to understand what happened to this man.
We would like to hear from anyone who lives on Hill Lane, near the junction of Alexandra Road, opposite Rollesbrook Gardens who heard any disturbance in the early hours of Sunday morning between 5am and 6am?
Did you drive past and see anyone in this area? Do you have dash cam footage that could assist us?
If you have any information relating to this case, please call 101 quoting reference '44170312093', or contact Crimestoppers anonymously
